Our Story

Within hope lies courage. Within faith, strength. And through healing, there is peace and the promise of a brighter, better tomorrow.

In 2007, I embarked on a spiritual journey to bring a message of hope, healing, and faith to those in need in my community. I founded Faith Christian Counseling Center as a non-profit organization offering intensive in-home therapy for children and families at risk.

Through my ministry and compassionate counseling of others, I began to reflect on the critical connection between individuals, families and their communities. I determined that the needs of each would define the course of action for my work, resulting in a vision to promote stronger individuals through improved health and well-being.

Day after day, I’m able to see the power of good—the power of faith. A strong community begins with the health and well-being of every one of its members. The road is often rough, and the choices never easy. But when we are at our spiritual best, connected by shared goals and common interests, we create something much bigger than ourselves. Together, we create a community with a better future for all.

Today, Faith Christian Counseling Center has grown into a safe haven of healing, providing critical services to those living with mental illness and substance use disorders, fathers at risk, and families seeking skilled counseling within Beverly and the surrounding communities in Burlington County, NJ. Our mission is to serve God by motivating, strengthening, and empowering individuals and families to cope with challenging life situations through faith-based counseling and support.

Program participants are encouraged to break the cycle of addiction with compassionate, consistent, expert counseling, and beneficial programs, which will help create a healthier society overall. Youth group activities, summer day camp, and various food distribution programs are just some of the specialized services we offer.

Together, our uniquely qualified and experienced staff – my wife as Co-pastor, and my father, Leroy Scott Jr., serving as Bishop – promote healing and recovery by providing life-enriching positive beliefs and values to those in need.
